The Vista Dome, Gourmet Express and Silverado Grill each have their own kitchen and specific menu. Each meal is cooked to order aboard the train, from the freshest, earth-friendly ingredients. We also have special selections available for your specific dietary needs.

Vista Dome Lunch

Our 1952 Pullman domed rail car provides our most private dining experience. Your meal begins with a complimentary glass of California sparkling wine followed by a four course lunch of your choice. The Vista Dome Car is an elevated observation style dining car expertly refurbished using Honduran Mahogany paneling and brass accents. Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald offers a unique menu for this dining option with all selections prepared in the kitchen located on the first floor of this car.

Gourmet Lunch

These expertly refurbished 1915-1917 Pullman Cars create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and enjoyment. Meals, crafted by Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald, are prepared in a specially fabricated kitchen car located immediately adjacent to each dining area.

Silverado Car for Lunch

In the Silverado Car, guests are offered an a-la carte menu in an open air atomsphere. The Silverado Car is the only car that was not restored with air conditioning.

As such, a ride in the Silverado Car is a ride more close to nature. Hot summer days can see the temperature in the Silverado Car soar into the 90's. But on most days, Napa Valley has beautiful weather. If you are concerned, that you might be uncomfortable with the weather, your best bet is the Gourmet Car.
